Attorney David C. Steigmann has recovered over $2.5 million dollars for his clients and is a member of the American Association of Justice (AAJ) and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA).
David is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Established in 1993, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum is one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers qualify as members.
David is the managing partner of Steigmann Law and focuses on medical malpractice, catastrophic injury litigation, commercial trucking accidents, and automobile accidents.
David is a dynamic litigator and has successfully litigated multi-state, catastrophic injury claims in federal court against commercial trucking companies, as well as medical malpractice claims (federal tort claims) against the United States.
David is deeply committed to justice for his clients and understands that (through no fault of their own) his clients have often suffered catastrophic injuries from the carelessness or negligence of another – injuries that may require a lifetime of specialized education, care, and housing.
David lives in Savoy with his wife, two children, and disabled sister-in-law (who herself was catastrophically injured by a negligent driver).
